Under the BMC’s leadership we will work together with its citizens to create a robust proposal. There is already a wide array of initiatives in existence or underway, including work on online citizen services, transportation, housing, waste management and urban planning to name a few. The BBSR Smart City Proposal will seek to merge existing efforts together with other priorities identified by citizens to create exemplary solutions. The following initiatives listed below provides a glimpse into the existing initiatives undertaken by BMC and BDA in implementing smart solutions.

 

M-Office BMC

M-Office BMC

This application is only for the BMC authorities to resolve citizen issues. Corporation officials will be intimated about the complaints registered through MCMP application via another application called BMC M-Office. Once a citizen register a complaint, the officials get intimated through M-office in real time. This will help the Action taking authority (ATA) of Bhubaneswar Municipal Corporation to take action on the registered complaint by the citizen. The BMC Officials can also view the status of any pending complaint. Once the issue is solved the status is then updated in the application. In the BMC M-Office application, complaints have been listed into different categories based on the nature of grievances like sanitation, street lightning etc.
